Woke up to the wonderful smell of freshly cooked breakfast, and each morning, I was greeted with cheerful smiles from Jeff and Sue. The decor of the house added a special charm, making each moment more enjoyable.

While every aspect of my stay was delightful, I wish the parking had a bit more space for larger vehicles—it can be tight during busier times.

The engaging hosts, Jeff and Sue, really went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome, providing personalized recommendations for local attractions and dining options.

The pool table was a fun touch, but an ironing board would have been helpful.

Parking can be tight.

The attic room has a lower ceiling, which necessitates ducking. It’s not ideal for taller guests or those with mobility concerns. The en suite bathroom is compact, potentially posing challenges if you need more space. Some minor issues related to the building's age can pop up, but nothing too disruptive. It’s worth mentioning that the WiFi speed can be inconsistent during peak hours.

Free Wi-Fi in rooms was fast. The off-site parking was a hassle.

The car park is tight.

I stayed in the Deluxe Double Room with Shower for one night, and it was super comfy. The room was beautifully decorated and really spacious. Loved the soft, fluffy towels and those little extras like the quality biscuits. Everything felt clean and fresh. The shower was great too, with quality toiletries. Honestly, made the stay feel really special!

Plus, it was just a short walk to the Brigg Heritage Centre, which was a lovely visit.
